This really isn't as simple as it seems. This is a recipe for 4 cups of Darjeeling Tea.

5 tsp      Orthodox Darjeeling Tea

4 cups    Spring water and a little extra

              Fresh Milk


  • Take a clean, stainless steel pan and bring the water to the boil.
  • Pour the extra hot water into the teapot to heat it.
  • Throw out the water in the tea pot and put the tea leaves into it.
  • Pour the boiling water into the tea pot and cover with a lid.
  • Let the tea steep for 5 1/2 minutes. Stir.
  • Strain into a cup, add a teaspoon of milk, sugar to taste, and stir.
  • Enjoy!

 Remember, chlorinated water will spoil the taste of the liqueur. The water must be poured into the pot the moment it starts to boil. If it boils for too long, it will spoil the taste of the tea. Use a Teznier (how do you spell that?) to make the best Darjeeling tea in the world!!
